Acces to drinking water

Intervention Axis

The populations of underprivileged neighbourhoods have a lot of difficulties getting access to drinking water. NGO ASSEJA, through the its ICOGESPUR, AMDEA and DELPEA Programmes started solving theses problems by implementing community micro projects. The populations of these areas are now having access to drinking water thanks to theconstruction of community drinking fountains, boreholes, the rehabilitation of water points and providing access to the Cameroon Water Utilities Corporation extension networks.

Target groups

- "Poor neighbourhoods" populations (those living in the outskirts) and have difficulties getting access to drinking water

-Communities that do not have access to drinking water supply network
