Most often, isolated actions in line with sustainable development have a little impact and a short life-span contrary to concerted actions. It is for this reason that ASSEJA has developed a networking strategy at various levels.
-Network of CBOs
-Network of Civil Society actors
The vision of ASSEJA NGO in the process of urban development is to have cities where the majority of the social problems are solved and where life is worth living thanks to the involvement of actors and functional networks and partnerships created between them.
NGO ASSEJA, through its program that supports Community initiatives, vulnerable groups and participative urban management in Cameroon, is focusing not only on the durable improvement of the conditions of the urban populations through the realization of community micro projects and providing capacity building trainings on management and mobilization in favour of members of neighbourhood organizations, but more especially the promotion of a real partnership between the Local government (councils and Government), the civil society and the private sector. This program supports neighbourhood-based dynamics I.e. activities of populations, which are actively involved in the socio-economic development of their community.
